Fundraising BBQ at Wellington Correctional Centre NOV'10
SGE Credit Union sponsored a fundraising BBQ at Wellington Correctional Centre, on 18th November 2010, for a staff member who is currently on extended leave due to medical reasons. The Correctional Staff got behind the BBQ by giving a gold coin donation with all proceeds being donated to the Correctional Officer and his family. SGE sponsored the BBQ.
We would like to thank Mr Dries, General Manager of Wellington Correctional Centre for allowing SGE to come on sight and get behind such a great fundraising event. It was wonderful to have all the Correctional Staff get behind the BBQ. The total amount that was raised on the day was $621.00! As a staff member of SGE Credit Union, I was extremely proud that we were able to offer financial support to this member.

SGE supports boys dreams of dancing August'10
SGE Credit Union and NSW Government: Human Services, Community Services helped raise funds for a young boy to live his dream, being able to go to Disneyland to do hip hop dancing. Jacob was given the opportunity to perform with the Simone's Dance School at Disneyland in the United States. Jacob's mother is terminally ill with pulmonary edema, which causes severe blood clots and respiratory problems. Due to financial commitments already placed on the family, we helped make this young mans dreams come true.

SGE Credit Union Donates to the
McGrath Foundation August'10
SGE Credit Union proudly donated $1,410 to the McGrath Foundation. The donation was contributed by SGE Credit Union staff over a six month period. SGE staff feel very strongly about supporting various charities.
The McGrath Foundation raises money to place breast care nurses in hospitals right across rural and regional Australia as well as educating women to become breast aware.

PSA & SGE BBQ at Macquarie Tower In Parramatta July'10
A joint PSA and SGE BBQ took place in July. In attendance on the day were over a hundred public servants. PSA and SGE have been working closely together for the past 50 years in providing quality financial products and services.

Corrective Services Fundraiser NOV'09
The Brent Londrigan Memorial day held by Kariong Correctional centre on the 10th November 2009. SGE sponsored the event with $200 towards the Gosford Hospital and some shirts, bags and umbrellas as prizes for the staff.
